    Who We Are

    Heal PGH is a family-owned acupuncture and bodywork clinic on Pittsburgh’s Northside, specializing in orthopedic and neurological acupuncture, advanced massage therapy, and luxurious spa body services. Since opening in 2017, our clinic has grown steadily and built a loyal following. We are owned and operated by long-time massage therapists who truly understand bodywork, clinical care, and the importance of supporting practitioners.

    Our team of massage therapists, acupuncturists, and administrative staff is warm, skilled, collaborative, and deeply committed to delivering exceptional care—for our clients and each other. We recently moved into a gorgeous temporary riverside location while our brand-new, expanded clinic is being completed next door.

    This year, we’ve added medical-grade photobiomodulation and have new recovery services debuting soon. Staff are encouraged to use these therapies while we build clientele.

    Experienced therapists are preferred, but we also welcome motivated new graduates—we love mentoring and shaping the next generation of highly skilled bodyworkers.

    Our Culture

    Heal PGH is known for quality, compassion, and a non-rushed environment. A 60-minute massage is a true 60-minute table time, and every session includes a 30-minute buffer for charting, resetting, aftercare conversations, and genuine breathing room. We value presence, mastery, and humanity—not burnout.

    We collaborate closely across acupuncture and massage, co-treating when helpful so clients feel supported by a unified care team. The result: faster progress, happier clients, and deeply meaningful work.

    Our staff is friendly, diverse, grounded, and genuinely supportive. We work hard, laugh often, and maintain excellent boundaries and professionalism in a warm environment.

    Position Details

    • Schedule: 4–5 shifts per week, including at least one Saturday and one Friday evening. (These shifts are the most in demand currently)

    • Shifts: Weekdays 8–2 or 2–8, Weekends 10–5

    • Must be:

    • Licensed Massage Therapist in Pennsylvania

    • Passionate, kind, reliable, and open to learning

    • Skilled in deep tissue without over-treating

    • Able to maintain excellent professional boundaries

    • Comfortable recommending follow-up care

    • Mature in communication with both clients and peers

    • Receptive to feedback and interested in developing mastery

    • Dependably on time with reliable transportation

    Compensation & Growth

    Compensation is commission-based and tied to skill level and training needs. Therapists at Heal PGH do very well, with grateful clients who tip generously and value skilled bodywork—not bargain-hunting memberships.

    Within 6 months, all therapists are trained (at our expense) in our core modalities: Hot Stone, CBDeep, Safe & Sound, Prenatal, Cupping, Reflexology, and Body Rituals.

    We are located in a spacious, renovated historic building on the Ohio River with stunning views and exciting development underway nearby (including the upcoming Esplanade project with ferris wheel, marina, residences, and more). Minutes from Downtown, the West End Bridge, I-376, and I-279. Free parking and bike-path access.
