Client Conduct Policy
At Heal Pgh, we are committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all clients, visitors, and staff. Our space is one of healing, acceptance, and community — and every individual deserves to be treated with dignity.
1. Our Commitment
We welcome clients of all backgrounds, identities, and experiences. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, ethnicity, color, national origin, citizenship status, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, disability, age, or socioeconomic status.
2. Expectations of Clients
We ask that all clients:
Communicate respectfully with staff and other clients.
Refrain from using language or behavior that could be perceived as harassing, threatening, or discriminatory.
Respect physical, emotional, and professional boundaries at all times.
Honor the diversity of our community and uphold the healing environment we aim to provide.
3. Physical Contact and Safety
Heal Pgh maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding any form of inappropriate physical contact, advances, or behavior toward staff or other clients.
Examples include, but are not limited to:
Unwanted touching or attempts at physical contact.
Invasive behavior that disregards personal space or consent.
Sexual comments, gestures, or advances.
Any action that makes another person feel unsafe or violated.
Any such behavior will result in immediate termination of services and, when appropriate, may be referred to law enforcement for further action.
4. Refusal or Termination of Services
Heal Pgh reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services to any individual whose behavior, language, or written statements (including on forms or correspondence) are discriminatory, harassing, sexually inappropriate, or otherwise inconsistent with this policy.
These decisions are made to protect the wellbeing and safety of our staff and community — not based on any protected personal characteristic of the individual.
